Kajol Shared The Much-Awaited Trailer Of Her Upcoming Film 'Salaam Venky' On The Occasion Of Children's Day

'Get ready to live life Venky size,' tweeted Kajol as she shared the much-awaited trailer of her upcoming film 'Salaam Venky' on the occasion of children's day. The film is the story of Sujata, played by Kajol, and her ailing son Venky, played by Vishal Jethwa, who faces the most challenging situations with a smile and teaches us the true meaning of living life.

The trailer begins with a friendly joke between the mother-son duo. The two are heard in the iconic line from Rajesh Khanna's film Anand, 'Zindagi Lamba Nahi Badhi Honi Chahiye Babumoshai', as Venky lay on the hospital bed. Filled with heartwarming moments, Venky is seen smiling as he faces life's challenges. Rajeev Khandelwal is seen as the doctor treating Venky.

Sujatha sets out to move mountains to fulfill Venky's last wish. The end of the trailer has a surprise appearance of Aamir Khan who shares screen space with Kajol after Fanaa. Directed by Revathi, Salaam Venky is a Mithun Musical which also stars Rahul Bose, Aahana Kumra, Prakash Raj, Priya Mani, Riddhi Kumar, Aneet Padda, Jai Neeraj, Mala Parvati and Kamal Sadana.
