Netflix Unveils First Look Of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Spy Thriller Khufiya

The upcoming spy drama Khufiya (2022), written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj is based on the novel Escape to Nowhere by former chief of counter espionage unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan. The upcoming Netflix film stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Wamiqa Gabbi and Bangladeshi actress Azmeri Haque Badhon.

The thriller follows the journey of a R&AW operative Krishna Mehra, played by Tabu, who is assigned a very crucial mission which leaves her juggling between her dual identity as a spy and a lover. The first look video of the film’s character was unveiled at Netflix’s Films Day event in Mumbai today.While none of the characters say any dialogues, Bhardwaj’s feature sets the tense mood of distrust and fear in the world of the spy thriller.
