Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal will be seen making his much awaited comeback after 40 incredible years into Gujarati films with the upcoming film Dear Father. The film is a movie adaptation of a theatrical play with the same name. The makers have unveiled the film’s trailer and it is gripping. Sharing the trailer on his social media handle, Rawal wrote, “Finally, the official trailer is out. It's been an epic journey being a part of this movie and working on a character I love. I hope y'all like the movie too.” In the trailer We see a concerned father wanting to make sure his daughter-in-law played by Manasi Parekh is doing ok. Meanwhile his sweet banter with his son played by Chetan Dhanani is heart warming.

While the trailer shows a generation gap between the three characters, a new twist comes to the plot when Rawal’s character is murdered. What is more shocking is the crime branch officer investigating the case is a look-a-like of the victim himself. Everyone is eager to know what happens next and who is the real culprit. Dear Father is written by the late Uttam Gada, and directed by Umang Vyas and will release on 4th March 2022.
