Bhumi Pednekar has shared her excitement of playing a young, hip and confident girl, much like her own personality in her latest film. She says this is a kind of role she has never played before. She was last seen in the rustic 'Sonchiriya'.
Talking about her character in the movie, bhumi says she was never portrayed in a glamorous and fun get up before this. All her previous roles have been real people in real-life settings.
Bhumi will be sharing screen space with Kartik Aaryan of Sonu ke Titu Ki Sweety fame and new comer Ananya Panday. Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of the 1978 Sanjeev Kumar starrer love triangle. Kartik will be playing Sanjeev Kumar’s character; Ananya will play Ranjeeta Kaur’s role and Bhumi that of Vidya Sinha’s.
The movie is directed by Mudassar Aziz who has previously written for movies like ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ and ‘Jia aur Zia’, among others. Pati Patni Aur Woh is slated for release on 6th December this year.
