Why Is Kajol Afraid Of Doing Intimate Scenes

Kajol made her debut in 1992 with the movie 'Bekhudi' and has worked in more than 51  movies and series in her 30-year career. In the 90s, when Kajol entered the film industry, she was praised for her dusky complexion and acting skills. She was the first Bollywood heroine who broke the stereotype of fair skin and zero figure and became a superstar. In her 30 years of career, she did not engage in any intimate and bold scenes throughout her career.

Kajol ruled Bollywood in the 90's with her stellar acting skills. She made her place in the industry by giving major hits. Being an actor Kajol never felt conscious about her dusky skin and body image.    

Even after working for 30 years in the industry, Kajol avoids doing intimate scenes on screen. Kajol shared the reason behind her choice, stating that she has never felt comfortable doing scenes that make her uneasy. She believes that as an actor, she should focus on portraying characters authentically rather than indulging in scenes that make her uncomfortable. She emphasized that there are numerous ways to showcase acting skills without resorting to explicit or uncomfortable scenes.

Despite her decision to avoid intimate and bold scenes, Kajol has given memorable performances in hit films like 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,' and even after 28 years, her character Simran is remembered fondly. Kajol has left an indelible mark on Bollywood with her acting and continues to make an impact with OTT releases as well by portaying strong characters.
