Aathvaan Vachan

The story is focused on the lives of a young woman named Manali who has a younger sister named Urmi who is mentally handicapped.  Typically, there are seven vows made during a typical Hindu wedding. Aadesh and Manali get married, and he makes an eighth vow (aathvaan vachan) to look after Urmi for the rest of his life. Their family's history is chronicled throughout the programme. The majority of Aadesh's family members are not pleased when Urmi shows up at their house. Manali makes an effort to juggle her responsibilities as a wife, sister, and daughter-in-law. Aadesh's mother conceals the facts and tells him that Manali's murder was an accident a while later, but in fact Manali was murdered inexplicably. Following this unexpected catastrophe, Aadesh is attempting to pick up the pieces.
