Baatein Kuch Ankahi Si (2017)

Megha is brought up by her stepmother, who does not think very highly of her and nags her at every given opportunity. Being from a poor household in a village Megha is independent and confident. She tries her best to empower the villagers and make them not suffer injustice. This makes her stepmother all the more furious with her. Things take a drastic turn when her the former forces her to accept a marriage proposal by a villager named Durga. Megha however refuses to marry the boy and continues her social work. Prithvi, who is Durga’s brother, helps Megha carry out her social work.
