Chashni (2023)

Chashni is a serial of the romantic-drama genre. This serial’s story mainly revolves around the life of two sisters namely Chandni and Roshni who both are born and brought up by their maternal and paternal grandmothers’ named Vandana and Bindu as they consistently face societal disrespect because of their father Sanjay’s tarnished reputation because of a past rivalry. Chandni who is the elder sister overcomes several hardships and struggles and becomes the first firefighter from her family and joins the fire brigade department in order to support her family on a financial basis. Further, their family’s life changes when they come to know that Sanjay isn't dead and is currently living in a home care centre and as Chandni coms to know about this she immediately brings him to their house but Roshni develops a sense of hatred towards Sanjay and ends the relationship with him. Soon, it is proved that Sanjay was innocent and it was Vikas who had committed the crime in which Sanjay was held as the main culprit. Later, Roshni understands and acknowledges Nirbhay’s feelings for her and they both begin their love story but the story takes a tragic turn when their relationship gets looked upon by Raunaq who is highly driven by a thirst to take revenge upon his sister’s untimely death as he believes that Chandni has killed her sister. What will happen further? Can Nirbhay save Chandni from Raunaq? Will Roshni intervene in order to save her sister’s life? This serial is a surreal blend of love, hatred and betrayals which are presented before the audiences with an effective emotional depth and intricate storyline.
