Deewani is a serial of the romantic-drama genre. This serial’s story mainly revolves around the lives of Parth and Meera. The story begins as Parth saves Meera’s life from a terrifying accident which could cost her precious life. Parth, being a son of the rich and skillful entrepreneur,Madan Thakur,somehow has a very complex relationship with his father. Further, as Parth and Meera begin their friendship despite their parents’ complicated perceptions. Later, the story takes an unexpected dramatic turn as tragedy strikes with Payal's death, Parth gets accused of Payal’s murder which then leads him to a severe imprisonment of up to seven years. Afterwards,when Parth finishes his imprisonment period, he reunites with Meera , but their divine love is now highly affected by family pressures, misunderstandings, and a series of manipulating events which creates some sort of rifts in their relationship. Will they reunite successfully? Can their love win over all the rigid conspiracies and manipulations? This TV series wonderfully blends the emotions of romance,trust,affection and betrayal through its cinematic scenes and effective storyline.
