Dil Jaise Dhadke… Dhadakne Do is a serial of the drama genre.It was originally named as ‘Jannat’ but was later renamed as ‘Dil Jaise Dhadke… Dhadakne Do.’ This serial’s story mainly revolves around the life of a young and innocent girl named Iti who has lost her listening ability and has been silent and numb ever since she had lost her mother in a tragic fire accident a year ago which traumatised her to a large extent and tears her apart. Further, as the story progresses, a young and charming boy named Yug enters her life and crosses paths with her and determines himself to bring a smile back on her face and then they both become good friends and through their exceptional bond of friendship, Yug certainly becomes a ray of hope for Iti as he helps her to express her feelings and severely tries to bring back her ability to speak and his love and care ultimately becomes the cure for her prolonged trauma which impacted her childhood severely. Later, a renowned and skillful doctor named Shivraj who is also known as Devguru who has sacrificed all of his materialistic pleasures after a personal tragedy has decided to dedicate his life in a spiritual quest and as he comes across Iti he begins to look upon her as a reincarnation of the divine goddess and urges to adopt her. However, his attempts are met with severe resistance from Yug who doubts that this doctor may risk her life and put her into deep trouble and make her life miserable. What will happen further? Can Yug stop Devguru from adopting Iti? Will Iti go with Devguru and betray Yug? This serial creatively depicts the virtues of friendship, affection and trust through its well-written storyline and eye-catchy visuals which often attract as well as entertain the audiences to a great extent.
