Do Dooni Pyaar sheds light on the convincing story of Ganga, a young, passionate woman who is highly neglected by her family since childhood, and Abhay, a man from a rich, wealthy, well-educated family. Despite of their contrasting backgrounds and perceptions, destiny brings these two individuals together in an unexpected journey of love and persistence.The storyline being set in the small town of Sonepur, Bihar, the series sheds light on the social issue of Pakadwa Vivah (forced marriage), a cultural practice which forces two individuals to marry each other against their consent.As Ganga struggles to get herself settled in the world, her life is highlighted by different hardships, rejection, and the consecutive struggles to keep up with the hope of living. On the other hand, Abhay lives a life of privilege but is very much unaware of the deep-rooted societal issues which affect various individuals such as Ganga. Their paths cross in a twist of destiny, throughout their journey, the series not only highlights their personal growth but also their engaging fight against social standards and their families’ expectations. Regardless of the testing struggles and hardships which come in her way, she faces them with unremarkable strength and positivity, proving that even the toughest challenges can be overcomed with pure hope and determination.
