Doosra Keval (1989)

In this family drama, Shahrukh played "Keval," a young villager who leaves for the city but never comes back. The narrative is presented as memories of the people, his mother, and his daughter. In the end, Keval's (Shahrukh Khan) friend visits him at home and is welcomed as the second Keval by his family. This is regarded as Keval's reincarnation. Hence, "The Second Keval," also known as "Doosra Keval" in Hindi.
