Durga Aur Charu

Durga Aur Charu is a serial of the drama genre.It is a sequel of the famous serial named ‘Barrister Babu’ This serial’s story mainly revolves around the lives of two sisters named Durga and Charu who get separated from each other because of a tragic car accident but are connected by a the unconditional bond as they both are sisters. As their parents Anirudh and Bonita unfortunately die in the accident it leaves them teared apart as they are currently left with no parental support and guidance. As Durga is left behind struggling with the nightmares and the trauma of being bullied by her relatives, and Devi who is also known as Charu is taken to the circus by the circus workers namely Banke and Bholi and then she loses her memory because of a head injury. After five years, These both sisters unknowingly cross paths and feel a deep connection with each other as Charu dreams of a better future and escapes from her adopted parents’ with the help of Durga and travels to Kolkata. Altogether, they equally fight against the injustices occurring around them which includes Polash who disguises himself to frighten Durga. As the Roy Chaudhary family gets impressed by Charu’s immense courage they decide to adopt her. However, Bholi and Sheru who hail from Charu’s past create a chaotic environment around Charu which leads to the arrest of Charu as she gets accused of several charges which she didn’t do. Later, the story takes a huge leap of twelve years, wherein Charu and Durga are grown up as adults and have become clever, cunning and skillful barristers. However, Charu retreats a sense of anger towards Durga while being unaware of the fact that Durga had been secretly supporting her financially in order to fund her education.Later, their lives take a turn wherein Anirban Banerjee a wealthy and rich man who deals with his own struggles and challenges helps him to clear their misunderstandings and and reunites these sisters. This serial is a surreal blend of drama, thrill and suspense which is portrayed through subtle emotional depth, intriguing storyline and eye-catchy visuals.
