Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (2011)

Jeevika and Manvi are sisters and live with their grandmother, great grandmother, uncle, aunt and cousin. The two sisters are poles apart. Jeevika being the elder is disciplined, responsible and a teacher in the nearby school. Manvi is a happy-go-lucky prankster who has just finished college. Meanwhile Jeevika gets a marriage proposal from Chandigarh from the wealthy Vadhera family. Viren, a lawyer comes to see Jeevika and falls for her. His brother Virat who is a prankster just like Mansi gets close to her and they both hit it off. Soon Jeevika and Viren get married. Things take an ugly turn when Manvi is diagnosed with cancer but the family does not inform Jeevika or the Vadhera family.
