Ek Lakshya (2015)

The story of the show revolves around three friends Diya, Sakshi and Preet who are close friends. The three girls might be very different in their approach towards life and have different personalities but they have one thing in common. The three friends have made up their mind to join the Indian Army no matter what. The girls go through a lot of challenges and face many obstacles to reach their goal. Diya knows that she has her limitations as a woman and must abide by the roles that society has thrust on her, which is of a wife and mother. She tries hard to break those shackles and pursue her dreams. Sakshi has been through a lot physically and mentally to dare to dream. She tries hard to push past the wall that society that has built and tries hard to conquer her fears. Preet is the face of a modern Indian woman, who knows her boundaries and limitations, yet takes things in her own stride and does things her way. She will not let the society dictate terms to her. The three women ultimately work their way through the toughest of conditions and reach their goal. The show is directed by Shankar Verma and produced by Shri Satya Sai Telefilms. The show’s star cast includes Geetanjali Mishra, Vandana Singh, and Priyanka Joshi.
