Hamari Bahu Silk

Pakhi is a happy-go-lucky clever girl who gets what she wants. She tricks her uncle with her silky sweet voice for duping her dad and taking over their house. One day she takes part in dubbing auditions for a leading actress who has a hoarse voice. Again Pakhi gets her way in the long cue by faking her number from 221 to 122 and gets in. The actress Natasha and her manager Akash make fun of Pakhi’s voice but later realize that she has the perfect voice. Sadly its too late and Pakhi has already left the auditions and Natasha and Akash look all over for her but aren’t able to find her. Turns out Pakhi lands a job as Natasha’s assistant. The latter asks Pakhi to look for the voice from the auditions. Pakhi is reluctant to do so but for the want of money, she accepts the job. Soon she bumps into the film’s male lead Naksh when her car crashes into his. Then on they keep meeting and soon fall in love. Things look up for Pakhi when she ends up marrying Naksh.
