Synopsis

The storyline of this tv series is been set in the heavenly charming sceneries of Nashik District, it explores the life of Neel Paranjape, a young,down-to-earth man from a deeply religious background, as his father devotes himself as a priest of the Divine Trimbakeshwar Temple. Neel,being born and brought up in a modest household grounded in the aspects of traditions,mythology and spirituality, he imagines many dreams set beyond the limits of his cultural heritage. His modern and unreal aspirations lead him to the wealthy Chotwani family, where he becomes their ghar jamai (live-in son-in-law), stepping into a world which is completely different from his desired dream journey.At the centre of this series are the clashes and the conflicts between the core Indian Tradition and Modern Western culture.With his progressive opinions and a familiar approach,he then seeks to change the Chotwani family’s rigid perceptions and way of thinking. Their core family is been led by Kanchan Chotwani, whose deeply established traditional values often clash with Neel’s modern outlook. Adding some spice and thrill to the storyline is Riddhi Chotwani, the ambitious and headstrong daughter of Kanchan,who currently handles the family’s ongoing business operations. Meanwhile, initially being doubtful of his unconventional approach, Riddhi’s increasing association with him adds a fascinating touch to their relationship.Although this tv series brings humour, family drama, and social change together it's still considered to be a tv series of the rom-com genre. Through humorous scenes and wholesome moments, this series adventures amongst the adaptation, acceptance, and the evolving definition of family, as he strives to bridge the gap between the traditional and the modern world.
