Kaahin Kissii Roz (2001)

Shaina joins the wealthy, well-known Sikand family when she marries Kunal Sikand. Following the marriage, a woman's ghost haunts the entire family, including Shaina, and she frequently leaves a red fabric lying around. It is revealed that the ghost is that of Kunal's ex-wife Sunaina, who passed away unexplainably four years prior. Shaina is actually Sunaina who underwent plastic surgery, it is later discovered. She married Kunal in retaliation since she believes he attempted to kill her. Then it is made clear that Kunal was always innocent. Ramola Sikand, her mother-in-law, was the one who actually attempted to murder Sunaina. Ramola and Shaina now find themselves engaged in a cold war.
