Karnsangini (2018)

Urvi is the only daughter of queen Shubra and king Vahusha, she is thus pampered and spoilt. She becomes good friends with Arjun, even though the latter starts having feelings for her she only sees him as a friend. Karn is born to Kuntiand the son of Surya Dev but is abandoned and thus brought up by a family of lower caste. He is thus considered from a low caste there on. When Arjun challenges him for a fight Guru Drona objects Karn’s participation due to his lower caste. Meanwhile Urvi’s friends give her a pink gem which she gifts Arjun as a sign of good luck. When Karn charges his arrow, it breaks the pink gem into two. Urvi then asks Karn to fix the gem and he promises to get her a new one. After Duryodhan marries Bhanumati, she gives away her pink gem to Karn, which he gives to Urvi and fulfills his promise to her. Soon the two fall in love and Krishna makes them realize this love. They then get married in spite of Urvi’s mother disapproval. Karn’s first wife Kasturi tries to create a rift between the couple but they fight all odds. The show is directed by Jai Basantu Singh, Tushar J. Bhatia and Huma Parveen. The star cast includes Tejasswi Prakash and Aashim Gulati.
