The TV series is based on Anurag and Prerna who are in love with each other. They confess their love but many obstacles come their way. First Anurag is forced to marry Komolika then Prerna is forced to marry Mr. Bajaj. When they finally divorce and meet things get even more complicated and the lovers separate once again. After many years of loving each other and two children later, the couple has a tragic ending and die in each other’s arms. The couple then unite in death. The serial is directed by Nivedita Basu and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The story is written by Anil Nagpal. The star cast includes Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan, Ronit Roy, Urvashi Dholakia and Hiten Tejwani.
