Kituu Sabb Jaantii Hai (2005)

The protagonist of the tale is Kituu, an Indian girl from the middle class. She dares to dream outside the confines of her small mohalla despite having dreams in her eyes (colony). At age 20, she is faced with some of life's greatest obstacles. Kituu is obliged to use all of her ingenuity to the fore in order to save her family from imminent disaster and a lifetime of debt while other girls are preoccupied with preparing their spouses and trousseaus. Katyayni Purohit is Kittu's full name, and she is a very intelligent young lady. Her ideal job would be with a news organisation. Her mother, however, had made the decision that she would not work anywhere, saying that ladies at home would not work! They even lost their employment since Kittu's brother quit.
