Krishna Chali London (2018)

Radhe Shukla is brought up in an illustrious and wealthy family in Kanpur. However being illiterate they are usually humiliated. His father thus decides to get him married to a well educated and qualified girl named Krishna from the neighboring town of Malihabad. Krishna is an intelligent girl who helps her widowed father in running his medical clinic. Her mother has died a few years earlier of cervical cancer and thus she makes up her mind to study medicine in the best college in London. When the marriage proposal comes, Krishna reluctantly says yes in order to keep the reputation of her father. After the wedding in the Shukla household, its turns out that people resent Krishna’s modern and liberated views as a woman. She is ill-treated but Radhe supports her. Soon she brings about a change in the house and also manages to stop domestic violence. The couple then leave for London, where Krishna will complete her medical studies. The stern and arrogant dean of her college, Veer Sahay gives Krishna a hard time. Soon he is expelled for his racist behavior and while rash driving his car hits Radhe who dies on the spot. The shukla family blames Krishna for his death and she is yet again tormented. She is now forced to work in the Radhe Krishna Hospital along with Veer. Eventually Veer and Krishna fall in love and get married. It is then revealed that Veer is responsible for Radhe’s death and is sentenced to life in prison. A devastated Krishna then returns to London to finish her studies. The show is directed by Sachin Kannan, Rahib Siddiqui And Manchan Thakur Vikal. The star cast includes Meghna Chakraborty, Gaurav Sareen and Karan Vohra.
