Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai

Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai is a serial of the drama genre. This serial’s story mainly revolves around the life of Nandini, a simple, innocent and truly determined individual who always takes a stand against the prolonged tradition of dowry. As she thinks that this tradition may ruin the immoral dignity and self-respect of a woman in the society. This serial’s story begins with Nandini, as a small child when she unfortunately loses her beloved mother due to a prolonged disease which her mother was truly fighting with. Later, she gets adopted by her maternal uncle and aunt, they both look after her upbringing and act as her parents. As she turns to be an adult, she decides to sell off her jewellery in order to save her uncle’s farm. Further, she comes across a marriage proposal from a man who visits her friend’s house wherein Nandini was also present and she agrees to the proposal of marriage by seeing the photo of the groom and his other necessary details. Later on, as Nandini and Naren, the groom meet each other, conflict arises between them on the topic of the dowry and she decides to call off the marriage because of his family’s demand of dowry. What will happen further? Will they both resolve their rigid conflicts and marry each other happily? This TV series deeply encompasses the delicate emotions of love, compassion and trust. Also, it enlightens the audience on the prolonged tradition of dowry(Dahej) and its impact on marriages and the complications which arise between the brides’ and grooms’ family respectively.
