Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai is a serial of the drama genre. This serial’s story mainly focuses upon the life of Ambika who is the oldest daughter-in- law of the luxurious and wealthy Rajgaur family who has willingly adopted a charming girl named Kesar who is the very youngest individual after the daughter-in-law named Hetal who insists for a separation from the family because she feels that the daughter-in-laws are often mis-treated and aren’t loved like their own daughters. In order to prove her statement wrong, Ambika promises that she would upbring Kesar as her own daughter-in-law and will love her as if she is her daughter with the intentions of getting her married with her son Suraj in order to ensure the family’s unity and strength. In order to keep Suraj unaware of this information, she sends him to London with the purpose of pursuing his further studies. After a huge gap of twelve years, Kesar evolves herself to become a disobedient and mischievous young woman, while Ambika still works hard to implement moral values and discipline in her. When Kesar comes to know that she is adopted, she prepares herself to fulfill her promise. However, her journey gets very tricky when the family members namely, Jayanti, Parveen, and Jinal who tend to turn against her after a series of various misunderstandings and conflicts. Can Kesar fulfill her mother’s promise successfully? How will she tackle the challenges in her journey? This show subtly adventures the different aspects of family loyalty, sacrifice and the rigidness of relationships which showcase the true power of pure love and determination.
