Lakshmi Narayan

Lakshmi Narayan is a TV serial of the mythological-drama genre. This serial’s story mainly revolves around the mythological and religious story of Goddess Lakshmi and the Almighty God Narayan. This serial is based on the divine and mythological tales of the Hindu religion. Its story starts when the gods and the demons swirled off the vast ocean to acquire the Amrita,( a potion which can help them achieve immortality). In this scenario, Goddess Lakshmi arised to be one of the divine treasures by being seated on a Lotus flower. Later, she held a Swayamvara( a ceremony in which the gods and goddesses can choose the life partners of their choice) where she had chosen the almighty Lord Vishnu amongst the others. This TV series wonderfully visualises the religious and mythological stories of the Hindu mythology through its subtle depiction of the story.
