Love Mein Kabhi Kabhi (2001)

It was the tale of Manav and Manisha, two people who fall in love even though there is tension between their families. In spite of the fact that she is an obedient and adored child at home, Manisha is shown in the serial as a very powerful girl with quite distinct opinions about love and marriage. She is vehemently opposed to the community's dowry system and is prepared to battle it to the death.
