Maitree is a serial of the drama genre. This serial’s story mainly revolves around the lives of two girls named Maitree and Nandini who are childhood friends who dream that they shouldn’t part their ways and they must stay close to each other after their marriage. Further, they both get married in the same house wherein Nandini gets married to Aashish who is a clever, smart and cunning lawyer whereas Maitree gets married to Saransh who is the beloved cousin of Aashish. However, the story further takes a tragic turn wherein a life-threatening accident leaves Nandini, Saransh and Maitree in a highly devastating state as Nandini gets into a coma and Saransh is found dead and Amitree is left as a helpless widow. After few days past Saransh’s death, Maitree comes to know about the drug addiction habit which had caused conflicts within the family. Further, Maitree decides to raise Nandini and Aashish’s son named Nandish as his own son. As the time tackles, Nandini somehow heals from her coma and then gets jealous of Maitree as Nandish continues to treat Maitree as her mother and this leads to a rift between their friendship which transitions into a enmity as Nandini severely tries to regain the spot of mother in Nandish’s heart and tries to create challenges in her life which cause her to leave their house named ‘Tiwari Mansion’. What will happen further? Can Nandish accept the fact that Maitree isn’t her mother? This serial majorly adventures the virtues of friendship, loyalty and trust through its intriguing drama, entertaining storyline and eye-catchy visuals.
