Malini Iyer (2004)

The plot centres on Malini Iyer, a Tamil Brahmin woman from south India who marries a Punjabi man, and how she reconciles the two cultures. When Malini and her husband relocate to Punjab, she must adhere to a whole different culture and set of practises, which causes complications. She likes the family she was married into, but she still maintains her individualism. She observes the traditions and practises of both the South and the North with the utmost care since she is a woman of values and principles.
