One day, Surendra leaves India for London with his wife, fleeing his brother Veerpratap's jeers. He meets a woman there who he begins to like, and they eventually get married. After some time, Surendra's first wife, who continues to reside in India, gives birth to a son named Vikram. The wife gives birth to a daughter named Meenakshi in London.
