Na Aana Is Des Laado (2009)

A village called Veerpur still commits female infanticide. The Sarpanch of Veerpur, Bhagwani Devi (Ammaji), forbids the woman of Veerpur or any of her maids or daughters-in-law from giving birth to a female. She is opposed by Sia Singh. Ammaji uses her son Raghav to seduce and marry Sia in order to silence her. But he develops feelings for Sia and stands with her against Ammaji. In Veerpur, other expectant women make an effort to flee. Several female infants are saved by Raghav and Sia.
