Paalkhi (2005)

Paalkhi is a serial of the drama genre. This serial’s story mainly revolves around the lives of Palak who is the only daughter in the family whose parents are separated from her and she is raised in London but as she grows up, she offers a visit to Mumbai in order to spend some time with her grandmother and then decided to pursue her further studies in the prestigious Princeton College wherein her life takes a unexpected turn when she comes across a charming and kind-hearted young man named Pranjal and develops a friendship with him which further transitions into an immense love and then as Palak informs her parents about her love, then her parents immediately decide to arrange a engagement of Palak with her love Pranjal. However, their story gets further complicated upon the arrival of Daksh who is the doppelganger of Pranjal and is considered as a black sheep of the family as his behaviour varies from all of his family members as he is a very rebellious, unpredictable and troubled person. Later, the story takes a surprising and unexpected turn wherein Daksh gets highly obsessed with Palak and makes several attempts in order to win her mind, but Palak highly opposes his feelings as she truly loves Pranjal and doesn’t want to cheat her and the Daksh respects her feelings and accepts her relationship with Pranjal but their peaceful relationship doesn’t last for a long time as a harsh truth is revealed that Pranjal who was primarily met with an accident and is believed to be dead isn’t actually dead and has developed a deep sense of grudge and jealousy against Palak. What will happen further? Can Palak come to know about Pranjal's evil intentions? This serial’s story creatively unveils the emotions of love, affection, trust and betrayals through its suspense, thrill and twists which entertains the audiences to a large extent.
