Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush (2019)

Ram who was in exile for 14 years, finally returns to Ayodhya to meet his beloved wife Sita. She soon realizes that she is pregnant and before she could tell him a woman comes knocking at her door. She pleads for help that her husband is harassing her. Sita accompanies her to her house where her husband says that he doubts his wife. Sita thus decides to free women from all kinds of torture and giving them equal rights. Sita herself is doubted for her chastity. Thus Sita decides to prove her purity by going on exile. She leaves Ayodhya and soon gives birth to twin boys named Luv and Kush in a hermit named Valmiki’s hut. The boys grow up hearing about the story of Ramayana from their mother Sita who hides her identity and calls herself Vandevi. Soon they come to know of their heritage and go back to Ayodhya to change the narrow mindset of men against women. The show is written by Mahesh Pandey and based on the mythological story of Ramayana. The star cast includes Shivya Pathania and Himanshu Soni.
