Saraab (1995)

Hoorain lives apart from her neighbours since she is different from them. She wants to marry Asfandyar, her cousin, because she likes him. She lives in a separate room on the upper storey of the house and is disregarded by her parents (since her sisters Namal and Warda are intelligent and sharp-minded). These elements play a part in Hoorain developing schizophrenia. When she begins to behave erratically, things get tricky. She experiences hallucinations and sees everyone as an adversary. Asfandyar learns of her illness and attempts to help her, but events twist and turn. After Hoorain and Asfand get married, she finds out she's pregnant, which worsens her schizophrenia.
