Suhaagan is a serial of the drama genre. It is the story of two orphan sisters namely Bindiya the elder sister and Payal the younger sister who are raised by their grandmother in a small village farm of Uttar Pradesh. Further, the story depicts how their maternal as well as paternal uncle and aunt try to acquire their farm by pretending to look after the young girls as their grandmother falls ill. Further, They try to win Payal's trust by giving her several precious gifts, but she rejects it when her elder sister, Bindiya, makes her return them. They try all kinds of cheap tricks to acquire the farm as their greedy nature begins to control them.What will happen further? Can these sisters save their precious farm from their uncles and aunts who are trying to acquire it ? This serial wonderfully showcases the themes of love, affection and care which is portrayed through its intriguing storyline.
