Synopsis

When young people from rural North India arrive in the city of dreams, Mumbai, but are taken advantage of, the story focuses on the subject of migration. While Radha stays at home and looks after their family, Sarju travels to Mumbai to support his family. While Sarju wants to rule the skies, she is more grounded and loyal to her land. He never settles and is always willing to take chances and explore farther reaches in pursuit of a different identity. The programme examines a variety of regional problems, including illiteracy, the caste system, gender inequality, problems with infertility, the position of women, and the suffering caused by eviction. It also shows the cultural differences between rural India and the modern city.
