The Trap (2002)

A girl who is the only witness to a murder is the focus of the narrative. As Hema returns from a birthday celebration, she unintentionally witnesses a murder. She is able to flee, but the murderer finds her and kills her. Despite being able to identify the murderer, the police are helpless to stop him because he is a strong goon from Mumbai's underworld. Anuradha, Hema's sister, relocates to Mumbai in order to prosecute the criminal. She runs across Deepak, a former classmate who is now a police inspector. He offers to assist her.
