Trishna (1985)

The family has four daughters in this series as opposed to the five daughters they have in the novel, the second of whom is known as Rekha (Sangeeta Handa). She is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and outgoing. She has little respect for arrogant people. At a party, she meets Rahul (Tarun Dhanrajgir), a wealthy and attractive man who has come with his sisters and friend Ravi (Vilas Kalgutkar). Because of his pride and arrogance, she has an initial bias against him. Roopa, the older sister (Aparna Sharma), falls in love with Ravi, a friend, but his sisters disapprove of her family and get him to dump her. Kitu Gidwani performed the part of the youngest sister, Roohi, and Mrs.
