Yeh Gulistan Hamara (1992)

India is concerned about the people living in its isolated, underdeveloped, and typically backward and illiterate north eastern region. To build a bridge over a river near to the tribal village of Ding in northeastern India, the government appoints special officer/civil engineer Vijay. The ruthless and authoritarian Deng Do Rani, his henchman Haku, Teju, and loyal fighter Soo Reni govern Ding. Soo Reni and other warriors are dispatched to destroy the bridge by Deng Do Rani in an effort to undermine the building project. Vijay's officers capture them and treat them equally and with respect. The Indian Officers, led by Vijay, fiercely struggle to protect the captured band while Deng Do Rani orders others to kill them.
