Zara Si Zindagi (1996)

Rakesh, a young man with an M.A. in philosophy, travels to Delhi from Bihar in search of work. Rakesh, along with his Bengali friend Amit, lives in a slum. Tilak, Amit's Punjabi friend, visits the dilapidated cottage where Rakesh and Amit live one day. The three men share everything they eat and go hungry most of the time. Rakesh meets a girl named Kusum (Anita Raj) at a bus stop waiting for the next bus to the railway station. Rakesh offers to carry her luggage to the railway station because the bus service is closed and taxi drivers are on strike that day.
