Zindagi Ki Mehak (2016)

Mahek has a passion for cooking and her to-be husband Ajay’s family have selected her on this very quality. She decides to prove that she is the best cook by participating in a well known cooking contest. There she meets the judge Shaurya, who comes from a wealthy family and is a well known restaurateur. He keeps humiliating Mahek throughout the competition which leads to her losing her cool and slapping him. Shaurya then apologizes to Mahek and the latter decides to marry Ajay. At the wedding it is revealed that Ajay has an affair with Mahek’s cousin Nehal. He asks her to keep it to herself and attempt suicide. However Shaurya saves her and asks Ajay to confront everyone with his real intensions. Impressed with Shaurya, Mahek’s mother arranges her marriage with him. Soon the couple get married and on the wedding night she is shocked to find out that Shaurya has gone abroad to promote his new restaurant and also takes away all of Mahek’s recipes. Turns out, he had carefully planned his revenge on Mahek. She however does not give up and makes him realize how much he loves her too. The show is directed by Cariappa Appaya, Faheim Inamdar and Pushpender Singh. The star cast includes Samiksha Jaiswal and Karan Vohra.
