HALALA (2019)

Rahil and Afza get married in a traditional Muslim wedding and settle into wedded bliss. Things seem peaceful and loving for the couple until things begin to change between them. The pressures of day to day living and other responsibilities takes a toll on their marriage. Soon the couple’s relationship is in tatters and in the heat of the moment Rahil gives Afza a triple talaq. She is devastated and doesn’t know what to do. Soon Rahil realizes his mistake and decides to mend things. However as per the Muslim Sharia law, to save their marriage, their only option is a Halala Nikaah and the one person who comes to their rescue is non other than Rahil’s close friend Zaid. The series is directed by Deepak Pandey and written by Sritama Dutta. The star cast includes Eijaz Khan, Neelima Azim, Ravi Bhatia, Yatin Karyekar, Shafaq Naaz and Deepika Singh.
