Netflix has officially announced that Kohrra Season 2 is on the way! Showrunner Sudip Sharma will be at the helm of the new season, thus it will be his first venture into directing. The gripping crime story will again be set in the beautiful Punjab. The talented cast will be headed by Barun Sobti, along with the much-awaited inclusion of Mona Singh.
Season 2 is a direct continuation of the previous story, thus a cohesive journey of the family's main character, ASI Garundi (Barun Sobti). A new and very intricate murder mystery is going to be his challenge this time. At the heart of the story is the strange case of a divorced woman who is discovered dead in her brother's house.
Mona Singh portrays Dhanwant Kaur, who comes in as the new, strong, and professional boss of Fine Garundi. There is going to be a very strong and interesting interaction between her and the rest of the characters in the same storyline. The core issue is still the revealing of the family relationships and the inner secrets as the main source of power for the surrounding drama.
The release date for the second season has not been announced yet, but Netflix has confirmed the show with a teaser. The viewers are guaranteed to enjoy a lot more of the riveting, moody storytelling, intense drama, and a new intricate case that is intertwined with Garundi's personal conflicts coming over from the first season's successful run.
