Single Papa is an upcoming Netflix family drama that is about to be released soon. The lead cast of the film is Kunal Kemmu, portraying the character of Gaurav Gahlot. It is a joint work where three directors- Shashank Khaitan, Hitesh Kewalya, and Neeraj Udhwani share the directing duties. Among the actors who will assist in the leading roles, Ayesha Raza, Prajakta Koli, and Manoj Pahwa are some of the names; thus, the whole team will bring excellent performance in this family drama.
The main character in the plot is Gaurav Gahlot, a baby-man deserted by his wife, who is being called a "work in progress". Once the divorce was finalised, Gaurav made a new and drastic life decision: he opted for adoption of a child and thus implied taking up the role of a single father with all its challenges. Such a mind-boggling choice leads to the eruption of horror and drama within the ranks of his family, and thus, the stage is set for a comical yet touching look at contemporary parenthood and family life.
The film Single Papa will first be screened on Netflix on 12th December, 2025.
