Rahul Vaidya

On February 18, 2005, Vaidya lost in the last round of the inaugural season of Indian Idol, where he ended third. His debut album Tera Intezar was released eight months later. Sajid-Wajid wrote the album's soundtrack. In addition, he sang two duets for the movie Shaadi No. 1: "God Promise Dil Dola" with Shreya Ghoshal and "Hello Madam, I am your Adam" with fellow Indian Idol runner-up Prajakta Shukre. Later, he sang the theme song of the television show Ek Ladki Anjaani Si as well as songs for Jigyasa, Hot Money, and Krazzy 4.

The host of the program Jjhoom India was Vaidya. He won the Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar title in a reality singing competition in 2008.

Vaidya sang Race 2's Be Intehaan (Unplugged) in 2013. His latest song, Vande Mataram, was published in honor of Independence Day. Alongside Vinit Singh, he co-hosted the dancing reality program Aajaa Mahi Vay.

As a member of the Shankar's Rockstars squad, Vaidya is a successful competitor in the singing competition Music Ka Maha Muqqabla. In the end, his squad prevailed, defeating Shaan's Strikers.

He competed in Bigg Boss 14 on Colors TV in 2020, placing him as the competition's runner-up. Vaidya competed in and advanced to the finals of the stunt-based reality series Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in 2021.
