Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan started her career in Bollywood with her debut in 2018 with Sushant Singh Rajput in the film ‘Kedarnath’, directed by Abhishek Kapoor,  which was released after a lot of controversies. In the film, she plays the role of a Hindu girl who falls in love with a Muslim porter. She improved her vocabulary in Hindi for this film.  Kedarnath grossed at 966 million USD worldwide.  Though the film received a lot of mixed reviews in general, Sara Ali received a lot of praise for her role giving Sara her due credit for her performance.

 

Her second release was the film ‘Simmba’ with one of the top actors of the Bollywood Industry, Ranveer Singh in which she did very well and got further noticed for her breathtaking beauty. The film grossed 56 million USD and emerged as the third highest-grossing film in the year 2018. 

 

It is said that Sara had begun her shooting for ‘Simmba’ during the making of the film ‘ Kedarnath’ which led to some misunderstanding between the director Abhishek Kapoor and Sara, which was later resolved when she was able to divide time between both the films to complete it.

 

She has also acted in the film ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’.  Her forthcoming romantic film by Imtiaz Ali along with Kartik Aaryan is yet untitled and little is known at the moment about the new release.
