Biography
Kaveri Kapur will be seen in Kunal Kohli’s film Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story opposite Vardhan Puri, the grandson of Amrish Puri. Kaveri had already proved her worth as a singer and lyricist for her music album , in the song, ‘Smell of the Rain’ directed by Shekhar Kapur. Kavero had to get done with her exams at Berkleee College of Music in Boston , in USA while she was shooting for the film and after her exams she flew from USA to UK to shoot for the film. Kaveri was the first choice for the film, ‘Secret Superstar’ by Aamir Khan. She had rejected the offer as she was too shy to face the camera. The young actress is focused and hasn’t signed any more films and plans to divide her time between her music and the film offers if any in future.
Kaveri has song and written the lyrics of the song, Smell of the Rain is directed by her father Shekhar Kapur. She has worked with AR Rehman. Kaveri is interested in turning a director but as of now she is concentrating on her music and her debut film. At a very young age Kaveri has handled production and ha worked on a script of a short film called, ‘ Be Happy’ with Karishma Kapoor’s daughter Samaira who also featured in the film while Ibrahim Ali Khan was in the creative team. It was basically a workshop with a bunch of her friends.

She is studying at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA whereby she is focused on the contemporary music.
