Biography
Priya Malik is a poet, storyteller and actress. She had started her career as a tutor and trainer and quality analyst. Priya was the finalist from South Australia for the Australian Poetry Slam in 2013. She participates in the 11th season of the reality show Big Brother Australia. She shifted back to her hometown in India and participated in Bigg Boss Season 9 on Colours TV.
Priya featured in various spoken word poetry platforms on YouTube which including UnErase Poetry, Spill Poetry. Some of her popular poetic works are Mujhe Pyaar Nahi Ishq Chahiye, Broken but Beautiful and Mai in 2019. Priya also featured in Nazar on Star Plus, in which she plays the role of Dukaayan. She has hosted the Uncensored News on TV9. She launched the Priya Kisi Pathshaala in an online workshop on poetry.
In 2022 Priya acted in a short film Jeena Abhi Baaki Hai. She appeared on the Cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine. She has received a lot of appreciation for her poetic work after being featured in World Business Review Corporation UK Ltd.’s 45 under 45 in India.
Priya Malik is best known for her acting in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein released in 2022 and Jeena Abhi Baaki Hain, released in the same year and in the 2018 film Gabru: Hip Hop Ke Shehzaade.
Priya Malik has acted in Chaari 111, a Telugu spy action-comedy entertainer film which is directed by TG Keerthi Kumar. She acted in the lead role along with Satya, Murali Sharma and a few others in the supporting roles in the film.
