Tania

st Actor of the year Award from 2012 to 2016. She completed her Bachelor of Design from BBK DAV College Amritsar and has a postgraduate degree in Project Management from Canada. While she was a student, she developed an interest in acting and dance. She is also a classical dancer and a national level participant.

The Indo-Canadian actress and model who worked primarily in Punjabi films made her acting debut in 2018 has since then appeared in numerous Punjabi films. She was nominated for two Brit Asia Television Awards winning the Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Qismat in the same year.

Tania made her debut in Punjabi film Qismat in 2018 and subsequently in few films like Guddiyan Patole in 2019, a cameo role in Rabb Da Radio 2 in 2019. She however, gained recognition in Sufina in 2020. She is notable for these films. Later she also acted in Bajre Da Sitta in 2022, Oye Makhna in 2022, Lekh, Mitran Da Naa Chalda and Godday Godday Chaa in 2023. Her 2025 release was Phaphey Kuttniyan Mithde Illti and Godday Godday Chaa 2. She then made an appearance in a cameo role in Qismat 2 and Nikka Zaildar 4.

Besides Punjabi films she has appeared in Punjabi music videos and has endorsed brands.

Tania makes her Hindi film debut with the film Jugaadu opposite actor Ishaan Khatter a comic caper which goes on floors in Mumbai with the production houses in joint collaboration. Tips Films and Baweja Studios have announced their second installment production titled Jugaadu with Ishan Khatter and the Punjabi actress Tania bringing a fresh on-screen pairing to the forefront.

Tania’s debut in Hindi cinema is officially launched on April 30th 2026 .The shooting of which will begin by end of May 2026. The film directed by Palash Vasvani also marks his debut in making a significant career in the digital space. Ishaan Khatter in the character driven story has Tania’s transition from Punjabi cinema to Hindi films will add a new dimension to the project with the film expected to introduce her to the wider audience.
