Amitabh Bachchan's Jurmana Unveiling Love's Journey

Let us today talk about another popular film by Amitabh Bachchan in his filmy journey. Jurmana film produced by Debesh Gosh, directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rakhee, Vinod Mehra, Shreeram Lagoo, A K Hangal , Asrani , Farida Jalal and Keshto Mukerjee and Asit Sen in the comedy role. 

The lyrics are written by Anand Bakshi and the music is composed by R D Burman. The story is about Inder Saxena who is a building contractor in Delhi with an attitude and the belief that money is the foremost important thing in life. Once his uncle sends him to supervise a project and he comes across his college mate Prakash essayed by Vinod Mehra and his professor Daya Shankar essayed by Shreeram Lagoo and his beautiful daughter Rama (Rakhee). He falls in love with her but Prakash is also secretly in love with Rama and the friends discuss their interest in the girl when Prakash states she is a girl who wont be lured for money.

But Inder Saxena who has a strong belief that money can rope in any desire and even women . He tries his best with his tricks showing money power but it fails to get her attracted to him. At last he decides to publish her poems and gift it to her as a gesture of surprise. She is delighted to see her poems published and accepts this gift.

Few days later She is seen in the bedroom with Inder ,  due to which she has a misunderstanding with her father and she leaves her home. She boards the train but is robbed on the way due to which she gets down from the train and the distressed Rama is helped by the kind station master Asrani who shelters her in his house until she is able to get some help to reach her destination. In the mean time the train in which was travelling meets with a massive accident and most of the travelers are dead. Assuming the damaged face to be of Rama, a letter is sent to Daya Shankar about her shocking death in the train accident. 

Inder is filled with guilt for his behavior and advances towards her to lure his true love for money while Rama to forget her sorrow starts learning to sing. Soon she starts giving performances and becomes a renowned singer.

One day Inder hears her singing. He and Prakash approach her and all the misunderstandings are cleared out and they sort out their difference.  While the movie ends on happy note with Rama and Inder coming together again.
