Biography
Athiya has made her debut in a romantic action film called Hero produced by Salman khan /directed by Nikhil Advani and she plays a role of Radha Mathur who falls in love with a kidnapper who abducts her. Her second film is Mubarakan opposite Arjun Kapoor. Anil Kapoor and Ileana DCruz are also a part of the pivotal roles . The film is directed by Anees Bazmee in which she plays the role of a simple Punjabi girl.
Athiya has appeared in a song in 2018 ‘Tere Naal Nachna’ sung by Badshah and Sunanda Sharma, was shot for a promotional purpose. She was cast in Remo D’Souza’s film ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ in the lead character along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and will also be seen In the Biopic of footballer Afshan Ashiq in Hope Solo .
Her ancestors hail from Karnataka but her parents settled in Mumbai and she was raised in Mumbai.

Athiya the model turned actress has won the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence award and a Filmfare award, has been nominated for the Best Female Debut. She has come on the covers of famous Magazine like Cosmopolitan, Verve, harper’s bazaar and many other. Athiya is the brand ambassador for Maybelline (New York) and Cosmopolitan. Her Nominations go as follows Superstar of Tomorrow (Stardust),Most Entertaining Female Debut(Big Star entertainment), Filmfare & Producer’s guild/Screen(Best Female Debut),IIFA( Best Star Debut for the film student of the year)
